Once again, there was lots of sewing this week but nothing finished enough to add to the stash report. Not many weeks left in 2012! Am I going to reach my goal of 200 yards net used this year? Doubtful . . very doubtful but at least I tried! There’s always 2013, right? 🙂
Used this Week: 0 yards
Used year to Date: 188.75 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 48.75 yards
Net Used for 2012: 140.00 yards

There is always next year. When you set your 2012 goals you didn’t now you were going to be moving. That really put a dent in your sewing rthymn.

Yes, there is most definitely 2013. And 2014, if need be!! 🙂
Karen says
You’re still way ahead of the game in terms of used versus added. And you were kinda busy this year!
Laurel from Iowa says
Judy, you are so close to your goal. I know you can make it. I will be pulling for you to use 12 yards before 2012 ends! (I hope my math is right!)

laurel…i was thinking the same thing…but look down further at judy’s NET yardage used….i am working away trying to at least end up in the black for this year, but 2013 is going to be an entirely different game…

Lots of progress, though! That’s a good thing. =)

WAY OFF TOPIC HERE……..we have been without power and cell phone service since last Monday. Wood burning stove has kept us warm, gas grill has kept us fed. Getting gas has been a problem, when they do open there are long long lines. People are also getting gas for their generators. Ice is another problem,
Thank God we have no damage, everyone in the family is safe. Im tired of camping and I want to go home. Please keep the people in NJ in your prayers, there are many coastal towns around me that have been destroyed, there are only foundations left. We have borowed a generator from my nephew yesterday and will run it about 4-5 hours a day.

Hang in there Elaine. It will get better. Think about all those pioneer women and how on earth they were able to make quilts on top of everything else it took to survive.

Don’t feel bad. I’m way behind last year with only 105yds used to date. I might get a few more yards used but I’m not counting on it as I’ve got about 5 or 6 to quilt and I’ve already counted the yardage. 🙁
