Throughout the day I’ll update this post with the progress I’m making so if you care to see my progress, come back to this post and go towards the bottom for the newest posts.
We have a lunch meeting today so that will eat into my sewing time but I’ll do the best I can.
Good luck with finding and using all the spare minutes today!
8:45 a.m. — Inside chores are mostly done, email is mostly answered. Sewing commences!
I’m working on this project, which will be a Quilt of Valor to send to Alycia.
11:00 a.m. – Time to stop sewing for a lunch date. I have 41 flying geese done. Sounds good except I already had 20 of them done. I need a total of 144 and there was a glimmer of hope I’d get them all done today. Now I’ll be happy if I get half of them done today.

No sewing for me so I’m counting on you to pick up the slack. 🙂
I’ll sew up a storm after our boy leaves, but while he’s here, I’m not even missing it. Looking forward to seeing your masterpieces!

Hey – I timed that right taking off work the next two days. Didn’t even realize it coincided with a quiltathon. But I’ll be busy quilting once I get off the computer. So far the morning chores (as many as I bother to do on a “vacation” day) are done and I did a bit of knitting so on to the sewing room!

Judy, the quilt you are working on looks great. Are you going to share the pattern? Also, are you still planning on doing the mystery/not a mystery quilt you talked about quite awhile ago? I don’t want to put any pressure on you – I’m just curious!!!!

Judy, looking for the blog/pattern for the quilt you have started – did I misunderstand about you posting the instructions? I remember you posting the fabric requirements which I bought and intended to get it going when you did. Love you chicken stories, keep it up! MAP

Your flying geese are all perfect. That only happens in my dreams. What method do you use, please? Thank you.

I had planned on working on one of my UFO’s, but ended up mowing before the rain came and am now putting binding to finish up a different quilt. Will work the UFO tomorrow!!
